Why this is worth ninety seconds
A cord of wood is about two tons and it gets tipped out of a truck in roughly forty seconds. Wherever it lands is where it stays.

What happens to the pin
The whole thing lives in the link. The coordinates and your note are written into the web address itself — there's no account, no database, and nothing stored on our side when you use this tool on its own.
Which cuts both ways, so know it: anyone holding that link can see the spot and the note. Send it to your seller, not to a public page. If you attach it to an order through us, we keep it only until the wood is delivered and the follow-up text is done.

The good one. Stand on the spot you want the wood, tap the button, done. Your phone is accurate to a few feet outdoors, which is far better than any address can be. Nothing is sent anywhere — the browser hands the position straight to the map.
Paste a Google Maps link
Drop a pin in Google Maps like you already know how, hit share, paste it here. Costs nothing and needs no address lookup — we just read the coordinates out of the link. Handy if you're handling this from work.
Type the address
Gets you to the right roof. Then move the X, because an address points at a building and you want a spot on the ground — usually twenty or thirty feet from where the search lands.
